Palace of Ice

In my book, Palace of Ice, I try to help young readers feel the excitement and joy involved in the building of this amazing frozen fortress.

This is a book written for readers who can read on their on. It is also, I hope, a book that parents can enjoy reading to younger children.

I encourage teachers to use this book in the classroom for a fun look at Colorado history. Under Teacher Resources I have included ideas for using Palace of Ice in the classroom, including prompts for creative writing assignments.

Finally, I have included some Activity Pages for my young readers.
