Short Bio

Afton Rorvik enjoys her roles as wife, mother, friend, editor, and writer. She loves shaping words, reading books by contemplative authors, listening to music drinking coffee with friends, traveling, and savoring the words in her favorite book—the Bible.

She has been a part of the publishing industry since 1987, editing a myriad of adult nonfiction books for the CBA market, while working with both first-time authors and best-selling authors. Her articles have appeared in Discipleship Journal, Guideposts, NAB Today, and Wheaton.

She is a graduate of Wheaton College with a degree in literature as well as a teaching certificate in secondary education and a member of the Redbud Writer’s Guild. She and her husband John live in Wheaton, Illinois. They are the parents of two adult children.
